If you happen to be one of the few (i.e. limited to 500) proud owners of a Bell & Ross Instrument (be it the 01 or 03 series) there is no better way to dress up your timepiece than with a custom-made Gunny Strap. These vintage-inspired "man straps" are hand-made by enthusiast-turned-strapmaker, Peter Gunny. Peter is a well-respected member of both the official Bell & Ross forum and the unofficial BR-AVO forum.
Each and every strap in the collection is unique, individually numbered and signed by Gunny himself. The collection includes straps of all varieties and is certain to include a style that matches the environment in whatever third-world country you may be currently exploiting.
The clean lines and parallel stitching on the water-proof PVD-Tan Series give it a safari-feel that (when selected with black threads and mounted on a B&R Phantom) will draw the gaze of a thousand Turks.
If you live in a "high-risk" neighborhood (if you're in D.C.: anything besides Georgetown), consider arming your B&R 01 Instrument with 7mm leather as featured in the Jancoux Series. This strap will turn your timepiece into a force to be reckoned with and (if you're Bruce Wayne) can deflect knife-attacks.
Should you feel the need to splurge, let the world know that you used to eat Wehrmacht for breakfast by retrofitting your B&R Heritage with the top-of-the-line Gudzyy Serie. The Gudzyy is the highest-priced "man strap" available. Designed explicitly for Bell & Ross watches, this strap features burly, vintage, 5mm leather, two-tone threads and ultra-distressing. Don't pilot your BT-13 Valiant without it.
As stated on his website, straps are made-to-measure and take roughly 2-3 weeks to make. If his collection does not offer the "man strap" you've always dreamt of, shoot Peter an email and he will gladly make you a custom piece.
